EARLY SETTLER HERE DIES AT NEW YORK HOME
Niels Peterson was born July 3, 1854 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and passed away at his late home at 324 West Pleasant Avenue, Syracuse, New York on May 10, 1939.
Mr. Peterson moved to Farnam in 1893, to what was later known as the Schneiber farm east of town. He was engaged in the pedigreed livestock business, specializing in Duroc Jersey hogs until the year 1917, when he retired and moved to New York state.
Surviving are his wife, Julia A., two daughters, Miss Kittie, and Miss Beulah A.
Burial and interment was from his late home, Saturday, May 13, 1939.
