Rachel Bartha Rogers, daughter of Charles B. and Clarinda A. Rogers was born near Lima, Iowa, August 22nd, 1874, and passed away at her home in Moorefield June 25, 1939, at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 3 days.

In 1891 she came with her parents to Moorefield, Nebr., in which community she resided until her death. She received her education at Upper Iowa University, and was a pioneer teacher in the rural schools of Frontier and Lincoln counties.

On December 13th, 1893 she married John T. Nall. To this union were born five children, all of whom survive her. Her husband preceded her in death in 1920.

The surviving relatives are three sons: John, Troy, and Bruce of Moorefield; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Vreeland, Moorefield, and Mrs. Phoebe Burton of North Platte; eight grandchildren and four brothers.

Funeral services were held in Moorefield June 28. Burial was in the Moorefield cemetery.
