Fred William Jackson
Fred W. Jackson, 45, died Saturday, April 6, 1991 at the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital.
The funeral was Tuesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. David Sites officiating. Music was furnished by Kelli and Kristi Devine and Jill Rubenthaler.
Interment was in the Gothenburg Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Ronald Devine, Ruben Ostergard, Roger Hood, Garry Hicken, Kenneth Kenning, and Larry Taylor.
Fred William, son of Loren F. and Gladys (Johnson) Jackson, was born May 24, 1945 at Gothenburg. He graduated from Farnam High School in 1963. He married Marilyn Sheffield on August 5, 1965 at Stockville and they moved to the Gothnburg area. He had worked for NPPD since 1970. Jackson was a member of the Pony Express Ramroddrs.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of Gothenburg; one daughter, Jody (Mrs. Butch) Ostendorf of Gothenburg; one son, Jeff of Gothenburg; his parents, Loren and Gladys of Paxton; one brother, Jim and his wife, Arlis of North Platte; one sister, Catherine Jackson of Cheyenne, WY.
Memorials have been established to the American Cancer Society and Central Plains Hospice.
