Jill L Widick, of Malcolm, age 47, died on December 25th, 2015, after an eight year battle with ALS. Jill attended school in Farnam, Neb., until her family moved before her senior year and she graduated from Malcolm High School in 1986. After high school, Jill graduated from Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas. After a brief move to Omaha, Jill moved back to Texas and worked most of her adult life as a jeweler in Garland, Texas.

Jill was the loving mother of one daughter, Morgan Burden of Garland, Texas. Other survivors include Jill's parents, Bruce and Marsha (Lambertus) Widick of Malcolm. Sister, Heidi (Weston) Inglsbee and daughter, Lexi of Bennett, Colo. Brother, John (Rhonda) Widick of Bennet. Uncles & aunts, Kathy (Bill) Allender of Fremont, Ralph Widick of Farnam and Frank (Cheryl) Widick of Moorefield. Special family friends Darren, Shannon, Dillon, and Mallory Durham of Garland, Texas. Numerous cousins and friends.

Cremation was chosen at Jill's request. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to ALS Association Mid-America Chapter, 10730 Pacific St., Suite 103, Omaha, NE 68114 or to the family for a later designation.
