Clarence E. Hazen, a resident of White Salmon for the last three years, died April 28 in Vancouver at the age of 84.

Mr. Hazen was born April 27, 1898. in Nebraska to Mr. and Mrs. George Hazen. He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of World War I.

Mr. Hazen is survived by his cousins, Eddie Barnes and Alta Goddard, both of Ventura,. Calif., and his- ex-wife and friend, Edna Griffith, White Salmon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Wilson.

Services for Mr. Hazen were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with Dr. Ted Holland officiating. Interment was at the White Salmon cemetery
