Mail Carrier Fred Miller became suspicious Wednesday morning when Ernest Anderson, who has been farming north of Farnam, had not taken his mail out of the box Monday and Tuesday, so he drove to the house to investigate, as Anderson lived alone.

He found Anderson dead in his bed and it was estimated that he had died Monday. Miller called the authorities at Lexington and after an investigation an ambulance was called and the body was taken to an undertaking parlor at Gothenburg.
