Minnie Zysset Passes Away Friday, Jan. 23rd

Minnie Magdelene Zysset, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crist Zysset, was born April 11, 1903 and departed this life January 23, 1925 at the age of 21 years, 9 months and 12 days.

She was taken sick with the flu early in December but did not seem to rally from this attack as rapidly as she should and her condition seemed so critical that she was brought to Farnam Tuesday, January 20, so that she might have better medical care. After a close examination it was found that an abcess had formed on the brain, which caused her death at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the home of Mrs. P. A. Williams.

She had been confined to her bed since the early part of Dec. but in spite of her untold sufferings she maintained a cheerful attitude up until the last.

She leaves to mourn her departure, her father, mother, five brothers and two sisters besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in the independent cemetery north of Orafino.

We extend our sympathy to the bereft family and friends.

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we love is still.
A place is vacant in our home,
   That never can be filled.

The years that she was with us
Not many but, Oh so sweet!
We’ll long to meet our darling,
   Safe at Jesus feet.

Where storms, strife and suffering
   We’ll know them no more.
Safe in the arms of Jesus
   Safe on that golden shore.
