Final Summons

Cyrena Hays Hirschman was born in Virginia, Nov. 12, 1842 and departed her earthly life on June 30, 1925, age 82 years, 7 months and 18 days.

She was united in marriage to Samuel Hirschman, December 15, 1864 at Shelbyville, Mo. To this union six children were born. Her husband and four children having preceded her across the Great Divide.

Two children, Wm. Hirschman of Farnam and Mrs. Mattie B. Marlin of Torrington, Wyoming, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of friends are left to mourn her timely departure. She joined the Dunkard church in her early youth and has since, been a steadfast member of the church of her faith.

She was always a kind and loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by those who loved her.

Mrs. Hirschman’s death means the passing of another of our sturdy pioneers, as she and her good husband came to Frontier county some forty years ago and took up a homestead and helped to make this country what it is today.
