Verd Israel Siemiller

Verd Israel Siemiller, a retired farm laborer, died of cardiac arrest July 6 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at Lewiston, Idaho. He was 61.

He was born June 1, 1929, at Farnam, Neb., to Roscoe Israel and Evaline Earl Siemiller. He attended schools there and later worked for ranchers and farmers at Farnam.

He moved to Clarkston in 1984 after becoming disabled.

He never married.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding and breaking horses.

Survivors include two sisters, Elsie Siemiller of Chico, Calif., and Emma G[i]ttings of Redmond, Ore.; and two brothers, Dean Siemiller of Leadville, Colo., and Kenneth Siemiller of Kamiah.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday att Merchant Funeral Home at Clarkston with the Rev. Peter Shebley of the United Pentacostal Church of Lewiston officiating. Burial will follow at Vineland Cemetery at Clarkston.
