BANNING—Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Elder, 84, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Griffith Mortuary, Chino. Burial will follow in Pomona Cemetery.

Mrs. Elder died suddenly in a Riverside hospital. She had lived here for five years and in California for 23 years.

Surivors include daughters Frances Slack, Riverisde, Mrs. Leon Aunspaugh, Banning, Mrs. Leland Sine and Mrs. Maurice Munger of San Bernardino; sons Tom of Hallam, Nebraska, and George of Raytown, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers.
