James Henry Holdeman, 80, born in Lightsville, Ohio, June 26, 1864, died at his home in Pineville Thursday night. He has been a resident of the Coast 24 years. He is survived by two sons, Glenn Holdeman, Pineville, and Jesse E. Holdeman, Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Holdeman, Casstown, Ohio, and Anson Holdeman, Yoder, Wyo.; one sister, Mrs. Cora Rice, Carrington, Wyo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon from the home with interment in the Allen Cemetery. Rev. W. S. Allen of Pass Christian will officiate. The body will remain at Reimann’s Chapel until Sunday noon.
