FILER — Mrs. Alice Martha Patterson, 78, 721 Idaho St., died in Magic Valley Memorial Hospital Monday morning of a long illness.

Born Nov. 5, 1890, in Farnam, Neb., she was married to James H. Patterson April 1, 1909, in Farnam. They moved to Filer in 1914. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Filer. Her husband preceded her in death as did one daughter and five brothers.

Surviving are five sons and three daughters, Kenneth Patterson, Buhl; Clayton Patterson, Amboy, Wash.; Glen Patterson, Sherwood, Ore.; Paul Patterson, Filer; Dale E. Patterson, Twin Falls; Mrs. A. H. (Vernita) Jessee, Rio Vista, Calif.; Mrs. C. E. (Wanda) Malitz, Roseburg, Ore.; and Mrs. Ardith Kidwell, Kimberly.

Also surviving are 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Opie Hicks, Grand Island, Neb.; Mrs. Claude Brown, Filer, and Mrs. Harry Dedmore, North Platte, Neb.

Funeral services are pending at White Mortuary, Twin Falls.
