Geo. B. Dunton was born April 27, 1831 in Marlboro, Mass., and died Oct. 10th, 1918 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Menke. He was married in 1860 to Virginia Matthews with whom he lived until her death three years ago. Four children were born, only two of whom are still living. He was a member of Buffalo Grove Presbyterian church. The services were held at his home, Rev. Saube of Dubuque, Iowa conducting them. The burial was made in Grace cemetery.
