Obituary Collection
Mrs. Nell Duncan
buried Saturday

Mrs. Clark Duncan, 76, Schuyler resident since 1941, died Thursday at Memorial Hospital where she was taken several days earlier with a fractured hip. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Richard Hovis, pastor, conducted the service.

Burial was in Ravenna Cemetery where Mrs. Duncan’s cousin, Rev. Jerry McInnis of Mankado, Minn.,m officated at the burial service.

Mrs. Lester Oberg sang the hymns and was accompanied by Mrs. Wm. R. Krula.

Pallbearers were Frank and Louis A. Kramar, Jr., Edward E. Blatny, Randy Hrouda, Emil Tom Horak and Edward Asche.

Nell, daughter of Hugh and Annie Swan, was born April 12, 1893, in Ravenna. She graduated from Fairmont High School and attended Peru State Normal. She was married June 4, 1915, to Clark Duncan in Geneva. They lived there until 1941 when they moved to Schuyler. Mr. Duncan died Jan. 26, 1965. Mrs. Duncan was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by 2 sons, Clark Jr. of Chicago and Col. Bruce Duncan, Langley Air Force Base, Va., 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Merle Swan, Corona, Calif., and Mrs. E. B. Lewis, Farnam

Svoboda Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
