V. Fay Stevenson, 81, 115 Park, died June 30, 1986, at Hutchinson Hospital. Born July 19, 1904, at Farnam, Neb., he married Rhea Banz on March 2, 1946, in Hutchinson. He was a retiree of the former Davis-Child Chevrolet and had been a Hutchinson resident since moving from Springfield, Mo., in 1946.

He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors: wife, of the home; son, Johnnie, Norfold, Va.; daughter, Donna Gumble, 2202 Cone; step-daughter, Clarissa Lucas, Grand Prairie, Texas; brother, Meade Stevenson, and sister, Iola Stevenson, both of Checotah, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairlawn Mausoleum; the Rev. Stephen Jahn. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the church.
