CURTIS — A former longtime resident of Curtis, Maude McLaughlin, 90, died Sunday at a Cozad rest home. She was born June 26, 1887, in Nuckolls county.

She is survived by three daughters, Roberta McLaughlin of Omaha, Mrs. Woodrow (Helen) Hosick of Cozad and Mrs. Ed (Lois) Hoppe of Farnam; one sister, Mrs. Louis (Vella) Herndon of North Platte; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church at Curtis with the Rev. Huston Bever officiating.

Burial will be in Moorefield Cemetery with Wetzel Funeral Home of Curtis in charge of arrangements.
