ESTES—James Calvin Estes, 70, of 4014 East Twelfth, died last night at Osteopathic hospital after an illness of about three weeks. He was born in Lincoln, Neb., and had been a Kansas City resident 47 years. He was a retired spice salesman. He was a member of the Ivanhoe Park Congregational church and the Ararat Shrine temple. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eva L. Estes of the home; a brother, Stanley Estes, Lincoln, and a sister, Otie Cloyd, Gothenburg, Neb.
