Services for LaRene Nichols, 68, of Atascadero, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Chapel of the Roses. Burial will be in the Atascadero district cemetery.

Mrs. Nichols was born Jan. 19, 1911, in Farnam, Neb. She died Friday in a Templeton hospital. She had been a resident of Atascadero for 40 years.

Surviving are her husband, Clifford of Atascadero; two daughters, Kay Rowland of San Luis Obispo and Karen White of Atascadero; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers Oscar Peterson of Nebraska and Arthur E. Peterson of Atascadero; and nieces and nephews.
