Arthur Elmer Peterson, 84, of Atascadero died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1987, at a Templeton hospital.

Upon his request, no services will be conducted. Inurnment will be at the Los Osos Valley Memorial Park.

Mr. Peterson was born Oct. 7, 1903, in Nebraska where he was raised. He moved to Boston where he attended Suffolk Law University and settled in California in 1939. He was a self employed contractor specializing in commercial projects.

Mr. Peterson was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Berniece P. Peterson of Atascadero; one daughter, Dona Pasion of Los Gatos; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the City of Hope.
