Lela Larson
HOLDREGE — Lela A. Larson, 94, of Holdrege died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at Chrisoma West in Holdrege.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Holdrege with the Rev. Dr. Gary Winget officiating. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery in Bertrand.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Nelson-Harris Funeral Home in Holdrege with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
She was born Aug. 6, 1907, in Lincoln County, to James and Eleanor (Austin) Craig. She lived in Farnam with her grandmother during her school years and graduated from Farnam High School in 1925.
On May 22, 1929, she married Frank Moor in Holdrege, where they made their home. In Holdrege, she was employed at Omaha Cold Storage, was a Cub Scout den mother for several years and cared for sick people.
Her husband died Dec. 12, 1967.
On Aug. 15, 1975, she married Clarence Larson, in Holdrege. He died Aug. 15, 2001.
Survivors include grandsons, Michael Moor of Gilbert, Ariz., Steven Moor of Omaha and Timothy Moor of Atlanta, Ga.; granddaughter, Patricia Moore of Lakeland, Fla.; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and two sisters.
