Mrs. Homer Davison

Jessie Mae Woolstrum was born August 2, 1907, near Farnam, Nebraska. She passed from this life at Powell, Wyo., March 15, 1936, at the age of 28 years, 7 months and 13 days.

At the age of 11 years she moved with her parents to Dickens, Nebr., where she grew to young womanhood. She was married to Homer Davison July 11, 1925. They made their home at Moorefield, Nebraska. To this union were born four children: Evelyn Louise, (who passed away at the age of 5 years), Homer Lewis, John Duane and Barbara Joan.

In the spring of 1935 the family moved to Powell, Wyoming.

Mrs. Davison leaves to mourn her departure her husband, three children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Woolstrum of Grainton; four brothers, Maurice, Powell, Wyo.; John, Willis and George, Grainton; one sister, Mrs. Walter Kline, Grainton; her husband’s father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davison of Moorefield; his sisters, Mrs. Lester Taylor, Moorefield and Mrs. Virgil Hessenflow, Casper, Wyo.; a number of other relatives and friends.

At the age of eleven years she gave her heart to God and united with the Baptist church at Dickens. After her marriage she united with the Union Church at Moorefield, of which she was still a member.

She was a true and loving wife and mother and a valued friend.

Tennyson’s lines are a fitting tribute to the life she lived:

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me,
And may there be no moaning at the bar,
When I put out to sea.

Funeral services were held in Moorefield, Thursday afternoon, March 19. Rev. L. H. Messersmith officiating. Burial was at Moorefield.
