Cora B. Williams
POTTER — Cora B. Williams, 99, a longtime resident of Potter, died Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 25, 1997, at the Sidney Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Holechek Funeral Home with the Revs. Gary Aten and Linda Battello officiating. Interment wil be in the Potter Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Sidney Health and Rehabilitation Center or to the donor’s choice. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Holechek Funeral Home.
Cora B. Williams was born Nov. 22, 1898, to Milton and Allie (Martin) Stebbins in Frontier county near Farnam. She attended and graduated from the Farnam schools.
She was united in marriage to Hollie Williams April 20, 1918, at Farnam. They moved to Potter in 1948. Cora worked at the Potter Sundry for more than 20 years. She had been a resident of the Sidney Health and Rehabilitation Center since 1989.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Haworth of Boise, Idaho and Phyllis Snyder and her husband Bill of Corvallis, Ore.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Myrtle Stinnette of Corvallis, Ore, and special friends Ruby and Elmer Jung of Potter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and her husband.
