Former Frontier County
Resident Dies in Illinois

Mrs. Anna Murphy Weaver passed away last Thursday, February 2 at the home of her niece, Mrs. Lillian McCann at Monmouth, Illinois, where she had made her home the past few years. Her illness covered a period of several years and death was caused from a complication of ailments.

The deceased was born in Ireland on Sept. 5, 1847 and came to this country when a small child. She was united in marriage to Erastus Weaver on October 21, 1869, and he preceded her in death on May 14, 1927.

There were no children and Mrs. Weaver is survived by several nieces and nephews of Monmouth and vicinity.

Mr. and Mrs. Weaver moved to Frontier county, Nebraska in about 1885 and located south of Farnam, near Orafino, where they resided until Mr. Weaver's death in 1927. Since the death of her husband Mrs. Weaver had resided at the McCann home. She was a member of the Evangelical church.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the McCann home, 427 North Third stree, and burial was bade in the Monmouth cemetery.
