He moved with his parents to Fleming, Colorado, about 1888. He came to Farnam in September 1889 and lived here until December 1936 when he moved to Los Angeles, California. He grew to manhood in the vicinity of Farnam and was married to Lillie Morgan.

To this union were born three daughters and two sons. Two daughters Delores Kitchen and Mrs. Don Hamilton, and two sons Emmet and Cecil reside in Los Angeles. He lived here a great part of his life and was a member of the Methodist church.

His funeral service was held in Los Angeles Saturday. He leaves his wife, two sons, two daughers and several grandchildren to mourn his passing. One daughter preceded him some years. ago.
