Leo Edgar Scott, 78, a retired rancher, died Friday at the Good Samaritan Home.

He was born September 14, 1886, in Neodesha, Kan., and came to Alliance from Gothenburg 15 years ago. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Church and the Nebraska Stock Growers.

Survivors include his widow, Hazel; a daughter, Itha Peebles of Blacklick, Ohio; and two sons, Howard of Brady and Leo V. of Washington Courthouse, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held in Brady with the Olesen-McVay Funeral Home of Gothenburg in charge.
