MISS HELEN EVARTS DIES AT NORTH PLATTE HOME
Miss Helen Lillian Evarts, 25, died at 2 o’clock June 1, in her home at 402 East Second street, in North Platte, following an illness which had extended over a period of the past three years. She had been bedfast for the past week.
Born August 30, 1914 in Farnam, she had spent her entire life in Nebraska with the exception of a short time spent in Iowa.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles K. Evarts of Mount Union, Ia., three sisters, Mrs. Edmund Dickey, Jr., and Mrs. Charles Cady of North Platte; Mrs. Dwight Thomas, Laramie, Wyo.; two brothers, Reed of Fremont and Lee of North Platte.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Adams funeral home with Rev. F. J. Pryor, rector of the Episcopal Church of Our Savior officiating. Burial was in the North Platte cemetery.
