OBITUARY OF WALTER SMITH
Walter Edwin Smith was born at Dorchester, Nebr., Jan. 4, 1887 and passed away at Farnam, Nebr., June 20, 1934 at the age of 47 years, 4 months and 26 days.
All of his life was spent in Nebraska and all but the last five years, which he spent in Dawson county, was spent in Seward and Saline counties.
On May 18, 1914 he was united in marriage to Miss Bernice Brewer of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska.
To this union five children were born, Mrs. Esther Miller, Louis M., George F., Vergil W., and Bonnie Jean all at home.
His mother, who had lived in his home a year preceded him in death seven months and three days.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and five children and a host of other relatives and friends, who will greatly miss him.
Funeral services were held at Milford, and Burial was made in the Dorchester cemetery last Friday afternoon.

WALTER SMITH STICKENED
Walter Smith was strickened with a sudden heart attack Wednesday about eleven o’clock and died before medical aid reached him.
He is survived by his wife and five children, four of whom are still at home.
Mr. Smith had not been in good health for some time, but was able to be about.
We have been unable to learn of definite arrangements as to burial, but understand that the remains will be taken to Dorchester for burial.
