Funeral Services Held Tuesday for John Zyssett
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lone Star church with Rev. Hayes in charge, for John Zyssett, 25, who was found dead Sunday afternoon in a pasture near his home, shot by a .22 calibre rifle. The young man told one of his brothers that he was going out to shoot a coyote. In a short time the brother heard a shot and upon going to the canyon near where the shot was heard, found his brother shot in the forehead.
The friends of the family were shocked to learn of the tragedy and have the sincere sympathy of the community. Burial was made in the Independence cemetery.
