Maude E. Stebbins of Fremont, 91, died Saturday morning, Sept. 20, at a Lincoln nursing home.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 23, at the Octavia Community Church at Octavia with the Rev. Charles V. Davidson officiating. Burial was in Edholm Cemetery near Octavia.

Maude E. Stebbins was born April 24, 1895, in Butler County. She was married to Dwight D. Stebbins on March 24, 1923, in Butler County. He died April 10, 1953.

She was a school teacher for over 45 years, having taught in Farnam, Gothenburg and Holdrege. She moved in 1975 to Fremont where she lived with her two sisters before moving to the Homestead Nursing Home in Lincoln several months ago.

She is survived by three sisters, Miss Pearl M. Eberly, Miss Anna Eberly and Mrs. Mabel Fowler, all of Lincoln.
