Erma L. Feddersen

Erma L. Feddersen, 92, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington.

She was born December 5, 1920, in Cozad, Nebraska to Earl E. and Autumn L. (Parkin) Bennett.

Erma grew up in the rural Eustis/Farnam area. She was united in marriage to Wilbert Feddersen on August 10, 1940, at Kearney, Nebraska. The couple lived in the Buffalo area. Wilbert died on November 16, 1967, Erma then moved to Lexington in 1968.

Her working years were spent at Monroe Auto in Cozad, Nebraska as well as being an Avon Representative for many years. She grew very close to her Avon customers and enjoyed their visits together. Erma also enjoyed taking care of her yard and flowers and being with her family.

Erma is survived by two sons; Ray "Bud" (Dorothy) Feddersen of Lexington, Nebraska, and Jerry (Peggy) Feddersen of Gothenburg, Nebraska; one sister, Lila "Peg" Brown of Gothenburg, Nebraska; ten grandchildren, many great and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death, besides by her husband, by her parents; daughter, Bonnie; sister, Vivian and infant sister, Eva; and eight brothers, Vern, Virgil, Donald, Melvin, Mervin, Keith, Bob and Clinton.

Funeral Services will be Monday, January 7, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Lexington, Nebraska with Pastor Duane Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
