Mattoon, Ills., Jan. 9.—Death has laid a heavy hand on the Gammill family, seven miles southeast of this city. Within the past week Mrs. Elizabeth Gammill and her son Lee, and her sister, Mrs. Nancy Thomas, of Nebraska, who came to nurse her, died, in the same house, of pneumonia, and Miss Elizabeth Dryden, another sister, died of the same ailment, near Neoga.
