A retired farmer and rancher, Zeb Jackson, 90, of Gothenburg, died Monday, October 15, 1979 in a Gothenburg Hospital. He was born August 4, 1889, in Gage County and had lived in the Gothenburg area for the past 43 years.

Survivors include his wife, Anna, one son, Uland "Bud" of Denver; two daughters, Estella (Mrs. LeRoy) Tillotson of Farnam and Lorene (Mrs. Theodore) Whittingham of Denver; one sister, Bertha Hunt of North Platte; three grandchildren, John and Jerry Schurr, both of Farnam, and Janet Reinders of Grand Island; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held a 2:00 pm Wednesday at the United Methodist Church at Gothenburg. The Rev. L. Robert Holbrook will be the officiant. Burial will be in the Gothenburg Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church building fund. McVay Memorial Chapel of Gothenburg is in charge of arrangements.
