Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Weddle mortuary for former longtime West Stayton resident Ella M. Hilton, 87, of 1625 Center St. NE, Salem.

Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery.

She died Sunday in a Salem hospital.

Born in Beatrice, Neb., she had lived in West Stayton for 35 years before moving to Salem. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Stayton.

Survivors include her sons, Cyril, Stayton, and Leon, Clyde, and Boyd, all of West Stayton; brother Earl Maurer, Gothenburg, Neb.; sisters, Florence Lyons, Salem, and Lila Heath, Gothenburg; and 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions to United Methodist Home, 1625 Center St. NE, Salem 97301.
