Funeral services and burial were held at Gothenburg October 4 for John W. Moore, nearly 80 years of age, who died October 1.

He had been a resident of the Gothenburg community for several years and was the father of Mrs. Florence Eckstein and Mrs. Minnie Banks of this community.

Those who attended the funeral from Farnam were Mr. and Mrs. A. LaBounty, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Haskins, C. A. Reynolds, Dan McNickle, Mrs. A. H. Jorgensen, Mrs. Henry Wiggers and Mrs. Elgie Thompson.
