Arthur Clouatre passed away on Friday at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He had been a resident of the Gothenburg community for 34 years.

Born in Bolton, Vermont, Oct. 3, 1880, Mr. Clouatre was 83.

He is survived by two sons: Armand of Gothenburg and Arsene of Virginia City, Nevada; and one daughter, Mrs. R. R. Aden of Gothenburg.

Services were held Monday morning at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, conducted by Father Robert Warner. Pallbearers were Charles, Daniel and LeRoy Gaudreault, Aimie Guerin, Pat Martin and Emil Aden. Interment was in Gothenburg Cemetery. Rosary was recited Sunday evening at the McVay-Olesen Chapel.
