William Craig, born Feb. 6, 1833, died Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock, aged 77 years next February. Mr. Craig settled on his homestead on the table lands, south of Buzzards Roost south of Brady in Walker precinct, in 1882 and has resided there ever since. He raised a large family and is a well-to-do farmer and stock raiser. He had turned his farming interests over to his sons for several years. He was ill for about six weeks before his death. The funeral was held from the house today at ten o&rquo;clock, the M. E. minister of Brady officiating. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community for their loss.
