Gladys Harwood
EVANSTON — A memorial service for Gladys Harwood, 89, will be held in Deaver at a later date.
She died Jan. 16, 2000, at Evanston Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born April 22, 1910 in Farnam, Neb., to Alonzo Teel and Lulu Heath.
After completing high school she went into farming.
She married James Luther Harwood on April 22, 1932 and he preceded her in death in June 1983.
She was a Protestant and a member of the Eagles club in Powell, FOE No. 26. SHe was also a 4-H leader for eight years in Big Horn County.
She loved baking, cooking, crocheting, all outdoor activities and spending time in the Shoshone National Forest.
Survivors include a son, Lonnie P. Harwood and his wife of Evanston; a sister, Luella Stevens of Gothenburg, Neb.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Carrol and James Teel; and sisters, Ethel Hardee and Nona Cooper.
Arrangements are with Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston.
