GOTHENBURG — Mrs. Ferne M. Hugo, 73, died in the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital Monday. Born Aug. 22, 1895 in Cambridge, she had been a longtime resident of Gothenburg. She had served as the Gothenburg City Librarian for about 30 years, retiring three years ago.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one brother, Clayton Pollard, Grand Island.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the McVay Chapel with the Rev. John N. Mikkelsen officiating.

Burial will be in the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery.
