FARNAM & mdash; Services for LeRoy M. “Tilly” Tillotson, Jr. will be 2 p.m. today at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eustis with the Rev. Harold Gronstal officiating. Burial will be in the Eustis East Cemetery.

Mr. Tillotson, 69, lifelong Farnam area farmer and rancher, died Oct. 3, 1992, at his home in Farnam.

He was born Dec. 28, 1922, to LeRoy and Hazel Farmer Tillotson. He married Estella Jackson Schurr on March 25, 1967, at Eustis.

A World War II veteran, Mr. Tillotson was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 288, was a charter member of the Cozad Elks Club and member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eustis.

Survivors include his wife, Estella of Farnam; two sons and wives, John L. and Kay Schurr and Jerry and Linda Schurr all of Farnam; a daughter, Janet (Mrs. Leonard) Reinders of Phillips; a brother, Raymond of Farnam; a sister, Mary Thompson of Elwood; and seven grandchildren.

A sister, Leola Haney, preceded him in death.

A memorial has been established.

McVay Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg is in charge of arrangements.
