KEARNEY — Dorothy “Beryl” Stovall, 85, of Kearney died Monday, July 12, 2004 at her home.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Don Bryany officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell.

There will be no visitation; the casket will be closed.

She was born Nov. 26, 1918, in Farnam to Charles and Sara (Parker) Parker.

On April 27, 1939, she married Marvin Stovall in Smith Center, Kan. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Lyndon of Greenville, S.C., and Bradley of Kearney; daughters, Nancy Burns and Melanie Stevens, both of Kansas City, Mo., and Jan Featherston of Humboldt, Tenn.; sister, Georgeann Young of North Platte; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
