Murray S. Rine died Wednesday, April 11, the result of a pickup-train accident at Brady. He was 85.

Services were Saturday in Brady at the United Methodist Church. Interment was in the Gothenburg Cemetery.

Murray Samuel Rine was born at Hooper, Nebr. on Sept. 27 to Mr. and Mrs. John W. Rine. He had been a farmer in the Brady area for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Lulla of Brady; one son, Gerald Rine of Valley Center, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Mildred) Jensen of Cozad, Mrs. Warren (Dorothy Jean) Fales of Melbourne, Ark., and Mrs. Donald (Grace) Slack of Valparaiso, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Weathers, of Gothenburg; two brothers, Joe Rine of Montana and Ted Rine of Gothenburg.

Conducting the service were Rev. Lisle E. Mewmaw and Rev. Hugh H. Houchin. Music was by Mrs. Lisle Mewmaw, Mrs. Keith Fecht and Mrs. Junior VanCleave.

Casket bearers were Paul Waltermire, Robert Waltermire, Ervin Jones, Jim Brittenham, James Clark and Harold Blede.
