SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A former resident of Farnam, Claude F. Ihfe, 62, died Sunday in San Antonio. He was born Sept. 20, 1922, in Fremont.

He retired from the U.S. Army after 27 years. He was a past master of the Masonic Lodge in Farnam.

Survivors include his wife, Lois of San Antonio; two sons, Richard H. of San Antonio and Larry E. of Garland, Texas; one daughter, Annabelle Jeanette Dyll of Heath, Texas; one sister, Junette Clement of North Platte; and eight grandchildren.

Services and burial will be Wednesday in San Antonio.

Porter-Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough, San Antonio, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
