Funeral services for Charles F. Hurshman, 65 years old, who died yesterday at the Indepencence sanitarium, will be held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday at the Blue Springs Baptist church. Burial will be in Blue Springs. He was shot in an altercation Tuesday on “Rumpus island” in the Missouri river. Mr. Hurshman, who lived at Thirty-ninth street and Selsa road, between Independence and Blue Springs, leaves his widow, Mrs. Lillian Hurshman of the home; a daughter, Mrs. A. J. Story, Los Angeles, and three sons, Rexford Hurshman, Edward Hurshman and Earl Hurshman, all of Blue Springs.
