Obituary Collection
MRS. LOUISE ALBRECHT

Louise Angeline Bauer was born in Golden, Illinois, December 23, 1875, and departed this life September 26, 1933, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. In her early childhood her parents moved to Sidney, Nebraska. Here she was married to Gottlieb Albrecht September 21, 1893. The young couple moved to Frontier County, Nebraska, where they resided through most of their married life. Thirteen children were born: Milon of Douglas, Wyo.; Helen, Edith, Billy and Mrs. Hilda Baldwin of Kearney, Nebr.; Fred of Schuyler, Nebr.; Louis and Lillian of Gresham, Nebr.; Walter of Berthoud, Colo.; Henry of Chilocco, Okla.; Mrs. Marie Shlim of Oakland, Calif. One daughter died in infancy. In 1928 she moved with her family to Kearney, Nebr., where her husband passed away the following summer.

In her early childhood she was confirmed in the Lutheran church of which she has been a faithful member ever since. She tried her best to live a Christian life and has succeeded in instilling a deep love for the Master in the hearts of all her children and many friends. She was always a devoted wife and mother in the home, and a faithful worker in the church and community in which she lived. She made friends everywhere and her devotion and encouragement will be missed. Home will never be complete but tho she is dead her influence still lives and her beautiful characteristics will live on. On her death bed she expressed a firm belief and trust in the Master and stated that she was ready to meet Him face to face.

She leaves to mourn her departure, twelve children, thirteen grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends.

Mrs. Albrecht lived in the Orafino community for many years and is well known to Echo readers, who extend their sincere sympathy to bereaved family.
