Marie E. Woodgate, 69, died Sunday, Febr. 28 at St. Mary’s hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 2, 2:0 p.m., at North Platte. Mrs. Woodgate was the mother of Mrs. Ernest Hauk of Columbus.

Marie E. Woodgate, 69, of North Platte, died Sunday morning at a Columbus, Neb. hospital.

She was born Sept. 15, 1890 in Joliet, Ill. and had lived in North Platte since 1915. She was a registered nurse and graduate anesthetist.

Among the survivors are one daughter, Mrs. J. T. Sorenson of Downey, Calif.,; one step-son, R. A. Woodgate, of Chula Vista, Calif.; five step-daughters, Mrs. Murie Fletcher, Maxwell, Mrs. Rex Cass of North Platte, Mrs. George Powell of North Platte; Mrs. H. H. Wibke of Omaha, and Mrs. Ernest Hauk of Columbus; as sister, Mrs. Juliet Semper of Joliet, Ill.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Episcopal Church of Our Savior with the Rev. Seward Bean officiating.

Burial will be in the North Platte cemetery with Maloney Cox and Kuhns in charge.

The body will lie in state Tuesday and Wednesday morning at the Maloney Cox and Kuhns Chapel.
