Francis H. Woodgate, 109 W. 7th, passed away in his home Wednesday morning, following an illness of two years. Born in London, England, May 12, 1857, he came to the United States in 1869 and to this community in 1883. Surviving are his wife, his sons, Herbert T. Woodgate of this city and Ted A. Woodgate of National City, Calif.; his daughters, Mrs. Francis Sorenson of Pomona, Calif., Mrs. Mamie Graham and Mrs. Minnie A. Fletcher of Bignell; Mrs. Goldie Cass and Mrs. Sylvia Waters, of North Platte, Mrs. Dora Wiebke of Omaha, and Mrs. Laura Hank of Columbus; his sisters, Mrs. D. L. Francis of Tomora, and Mrs. Emily Hans of Seward. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 at the Episcopal church with Rev. Francis J. Pryor officiating. Burial will be in the North Platte cemetery.
