James L. McNickle
James Lee McNickle, Eckert, died Friday at his home. He was 68.
Mr. McNickle was a retired building inspector for the city and county of Denver.
He was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Farnam, Neb., where he spent his childhood.
He married Eva Mae Ellis on June 9, 1940, in Denver. The couple moved to Eckert in 1985. She survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, James Matthew McNickle of Burbank, Calif.; three daughters, Vickie Lee Oie of Denver, Christina Grace Brogan of Conifer, and Kathleen Jan McNickle-Schiel of Grand Junction; two brothers, Arthur W. McNickle of Olympia, Wash.; and Max L. McNickle of Farnam, Neb.; one sister, Kathleen Sara Meyers of Florence; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel with Candie Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Cedaredge Cemetery.
