JEROME, Jan. 2—Floyd George Gardner, 70, died Friday at St. Benedict’s hospital. He was a former resident of Filer.

Mr. Gardner was born Nov. 24, 1883. He married Bessie Baker March 18, 1907. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wido, two sons, Gilbert Gardner, Seattle, and Fred Gardner, Filer; two daughters, Mrs. Roxie Marquardt, Lexington, Nebr., and Mrs. Maryellen Hadley, Seattle; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter Gardner, Twin Falls, and four sisters, Mrs. Alice Patterson and Mrs. Mazie Brown, both Filer; Mrs. Hattie Dedmore, North Platte, Nebr., and Mrs. May Hicks, Grand Island, Nebr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wiley funeral home with the Rev. Russell Walters, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating. Concluding services will be held at the IOOF cemetery in Filer. The family requests that contributions be made to the building fund of the First Baptist church.
