Elizabeth V. Balser Services Wednesday
Services for Mrs. Elizabeth V. Balser will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Swan Funeral Home.
The Rev. Dr. Lloyd Nichols and the Rev. Edward Ness will officiate. Pallbearers will be Henry Grunditz, Kenneth Willson, Paul Speer, Lawrence Highbee, Alva Woodford, and Hubert Keeney. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Balser, 823 E. Cucharras St., died Saturday in a local hospital. She was in a local hospital. She was the wife of Adelbert H. Balser.
She was born April 26, 1884 in Seward County, Neb., and moved to Ellicott in 1920 from Farnam, Neb. She had lived here since 1953.
She was marrie3d Dec. 15, 1909 in Leavenworth, Wash.
Mrs. Balser belonged to Calvary Methodist Church and was the chaplain for the Mt. View Grange for more than 20 years.
Other than her husband, she is survived by a son, Adelbert P. Balser, Route 2; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Chester Bick, Enid, Okla.; and Virgil Bick, Seward, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Rieker, Eustis, Neb., and Mrs. Lucille Gaibler, Farnam, and several nieces and nephews.
