Cora Gilson, second daughter of Rev. Alfred E. Gilson and wife, was born August 17, 1879, in Washington, Iowa and passed away in Curtis, Nebraska on May 2, 1949, at the age of 69 years, 8 months, and 15 days.

On August 10, 1904, she was united in marriage with Lester C. Kitchen and to this union are born two daughters; Margaret Stewart of Curtis and Helen Larsen of Madrid, Nebraska. Besides her husband and daughters, she is survived by one grandson, Gary Lee Larsen, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Several Farnam people attended the funeral services and interment which were held at Curtis on Thursday following her death.
